Esther and I took our Final Theory Test today. 1st attempt and voila~ PASSED. Ready to contact instructor for our private lesson!

After much procastination, I finally went for the MOE career seminar. Anyway, erjie asked me a good question "So did they convince you to sell 5 years of your life to them?" Yes, they did, I think they've already convince me since I was young. Teaching is a noble profession but it really takes a lot of hardwork to strive and ensure you'll be a respectable and influential teacher. They did not paint a beautiful picture that this is a metal rice bowl nor its a career for everyone. Coz' utimately you really need to have the passion to teach and groom the young ones. I would love to give it a go, really. But my dream job is really holding me back. And what erjie suggested was to go for my dream job first, then to this lifelong career. It will be easier for a career switch this way.

I've also learnt something ugly about Singaporean. Not that we don't know, but its pure disgusting. After the seminar, they have this tea session for everyone. Next thing I saw was a huge crowd rushing to get a piece of cake and coffee. And I began to wonder, are they really here for the seminar, or more for that cup of coffee and piece of cake! Its like they haven't eaten for days you know. *shake head*


Then went to meet en for dinner before meeting the rest. Initially there was a change in plan, but then we decided to stick back to it. We headed down to Mind's Cafe at Princep Street for some games and chill. Joey is so damn funny, kept eyeing on the snacks! And lian just keeps bombarding him with remarks. Its pretty relaxing, but as times goes by, your mind will start to wonder or even stop thinking. Because, its time for bed.


This tuesday marks the end of course! That's fast! And it will be a rather busy week for me. Full of appointments & test.


Also, my Jap Intermediate class is starting on 6 May. I've finally secured a Sunday slot and its gonna last me for 8 months.

Its such a fruitful, happy and lovely saturday. Coz' today i'm celebrating Esther's 22nd birthday in advance. Bought her a Project Shop belt which she claimed its unique and made her a Prints card. We headed down to Vivo City, my aim was to bring her to Build-a-bear, however we left the shop empty handed because she doesn't like the material. And in the end, bought the Usamomo rabbit, quite a well-known Jap soft toys from Mother Garden. The toys there are like Slyvanian Family.



Bought this coin purse. Obviously, not for myself, but my lovely cutey cousin, xinhui. She's K2 now, its quite useful for her to put her pocket money. Once in a while must shower her with little love.


You know, I've always been eyeing for the Agnes B bag, then to the GAP bag. We were about to take down to article number for dajie to purchase with staff discount. Then, out of the blue, comes a Ted Baker. The bag caught my attention within split seconds and immediately I dragged esther into the shop. 15 minutes later. Ta-daa! I've got my new Ted Baker bag that cost $120. Everyone is complaining its so costly. Who cares when I love it loads! I'll proof you guys that its worth it. In anyway, its Ted Baker.




Then we headed to Suntec City for our dinner at The Chinese Feast steamboat. Erjie joined us shortly. The Ma-La pot is really, extremely hot. Wooo! The burning sensation is still tingling in my stomach. But its really nice and worth it.


Its such a happy occasion. Have fun in Taiwan, es! Happy 22nd Birthday once again bestie! Lastly, you know what I wanna say....

Rostam and I had come into an agreement yesterday that weekend is indeed so precious for us and we shouldn't waste a single second. True, life staying in is so different from staying out. Its like every friday you're thrown back into civilisation. Felt like a noob when we were walking to Tiong Bahru MRT yesterday.


Anyway, for the past 1 month, caught 3 movies and here are some of my reviews:





Just Follow Law. You can't expect much from this movie because for a start, you will know that its just so local. Unlike Jack Neo's previous movie where there are some hidden political issues that are controversial, this movie has tone down a lot. Its funny but I didn't really enjoy it. The swopped in identity between Fann and Gurmit has added some complexity. Thumbs up for Fann's break through performance. The demure lady appeal in the show have dipped tremendously especially the part where she wore the pink dress and tied 2 pony tail. Oh! and the way she scolded "Nabei" is like..... some kind of charm?



Dreamgirls. Love this show, but its a little too draggy for some part. The entire show is like a musical - retro and disco feel. I really enjoyed Beyonce's performance. She's just so sexy and hot in the various outfits. And I don't think she needs to reassure everyone her vocal power. Its proven.




Music and Lyrics. Caught this show last night. The first impression of the show that it has given me was "it maybe boring". But it turns out vice-versa The entire show is smooth, something light and humurous.


2 upcoming movies that I'm gonna catch:

A long long wait. I'm blogging from camp now, a victim of the Monday Blues. God, I woke up this morning, and asked myself, how long can I withstand this kind of life. I know its freaking 6 more months to go, but sometimes, I just get so impatient with it.


On contradictory, I'm faced with a dilemma. I'm afraid I won't be able to get a job, or rather the dream job that I want. Everyone seems to have a clear mind the course they wanna do, but I've so many courses in mind and I can't make up my mind. (wa seh! ryhming man)

Perhaps, I just need a slap on my face if I'm able to attend the interview within these period of time. Coz' if I failed, I would eventually be awake. Time is running out. Well, I love it, but also kind of afraid at the same time.


2 more weeks to end of course, then it will be 5 more months to ORD! Hang in there.... hanging...

16 February: Friends Annual CNY Reunion Dinner at Kuishin-bo くいしんぼ.


Benny had something on, Cien was working full-shift and Ting was down due to illness. Thus, its left with the 6 of us! It was an extremely fun night, endless laughter, and we're filled to the brim.

等了将近一年半，她回来了！好期待新专辑的到来。但这几天炒得火热的埃及事件让好多人怀疑这是不是新公司CAPITOL的宣传方式。我只是有点好奇但也似乎不是很在乎。我只想听她的好音乐- 逆光。真的！

Anyway, still remember "Positive Reinforcement" theory we learnt back in Poly days? Food can really drive pets or animals working. The video below was taken about a week ago when I went to my cousin's place for Chinese New Year celebration. Her dog "Junior" was trained to wish Gongxi Gongxi. Junior really knows how to capture the attention of everyone....
